"In narrow alleys behind the ghats of banaras with minimal or unavailable mobile radio network, this caffe can be found with hippies all over the world chilling over a stick of maryjane, few Korean dishes and desserts.br/>Ambience-wise no nearby caffe beats it, dim lighting, soothing music, outdoor chairs and couple of indoor cooking. the owner is friendly, but the employees will not hear them. the service is fast. they come to eat, they have great options available, of which their koreaner is said to be the specific. they are all well portioned, but expensive for a college student, since all are aligned to the frequent foreign visitors.<br br/> we ordered korean as well as fried chicken with salsa. the Korean dishes, well, never calmed my Indian taste buds, to blanching, perhaps what it should be. the fried chicken was however crispy outside and tender inside and the best among what we had here.<br/> it is worth a one-time visit in varanasi."

"Visited this place with a few friends. Loved the ambiance at first sight. The seats are cozy and comfortable. The staff was Cooperative. I must say that this place is a heaven for sweet lovers. I loved the Ferrero Rocher Tart, death by chocolate pastry, and Rasmalai pastry was something new and tasty. In savoury I liked the Cheesy Pockets. Mango Chatpata is a must try drink here."

"For a student you won't get a better place for lunch and dinner in such less price. I have been a regular visitor of this place during the end of the months when my pocket was really tight! I never tried starters I kept my orders simple. Tawa roti, Dal Fry , and Vegetable. You will get a feel of home at this place . The Dal is simple and really very good, In vegetables I have tried almost everything, Bhindi fry is very good , Aloo dum banarsi is good too , Kadhai paneer is the best among all the paneer dishes. Do not go for Chole and Chana masala! They taste half cooked!(I love this two so I tried them for 3 4 times and it was not satisfactory even once) The taste is good , but the...read more"

"In a nook on Dashashwamedh, Dosa cafe is quietly dishing up the best ghee roast dosas I’ve ever eaten. As a staunch hater of variety dosa I was skeptical When I saw the array of weird dosa combinations in the menu. But I’d heard so much about the place that I decided to give it a go. I ordered Spinach Potato Dosa and Mango Dosa and was not at all disappointed! I’d visit here everyday if I could. I didn’t think the prices were extravagant. The only downside is that it’s a quick eat-and-dash place and a hangout corner."

"Better Indian food than Shree (just down the street) and at cheaper prices. The parathas were good. The veg curry could use more gravy. We asked for the food spicy but it wasn't hot enough so we asked for pickle and got a small dish with excellent mango chutney to give it more zip. The hot lemon ginger honey drinks are perfect for soothing the throat. <br><br><a href="https://www.zomato.com/spoonback?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcanadianveggie.wordpress.com&amp;r=7614814&amp;to=15599522&amp;k=1523a24371b7d4324d45bd24b43ef3a6" target="_blank"><span class="left red-text">canadianveggie.wordpress.com</span><span class="grey-text left ml5" data-icon="ŧ"></span></a>"

"Situated in the famous Kachodi Gali, near the Manikarnika Ghat, Blue Lassi is a 75-years old shop that offers you 90 crazy varieties of flavoured lassi, which are all churned manually in front of your eyes, prepared using fresh fruits and served in a kulhad. <br> The shop is small, dimly-lit and with walls painted in blue all over and adorned with passport sized pictures of the people who visited the shop and little paper chits with their messages on it. The place is an unique experience in itself ! Our favourite two varieties of Lassi here were-<br> <br> 1) Mango-Pomegranate Lassi- thick, sweet beaten mango yogurt with copious amounts of pomegranate, the joy was real.<br> <br> 2)The Banana Pistachio Lassi is everything you ever wanted from a lassi! Freshly churned, perfectly sweet, thick, rich, creamy, topped with bananas and pistachios, you literally have to scrape the kulhad with spoon at the end to dig into this beauty completely!"

"Unfortunately, we couldn't have my family and I stayed in the guest house of ganpati because the reservations were complete. We went there after the recommendation of some friends of the Basque country who spoke to us of real wonders of the place, of the hotel and thus services. However, and since we were exhausted from our long walk through the ghats, we were glad to see that this is how chiku said, the nice and professional owner of the establishment! Finally an Indian doing his job very well in the field of hospitality! that we could rest sitting while taking something on the terrace of the hotel where the restaurant served to eat. We have no words. first because from the terrace the views were more extraordinary than, in principle, nobody can imagine. The gang mother spread before our eyes to make us feel full of calm while we were imitating the quiet and sacred waters of the gangs. On the other hand, the spectacle of the sacred rites baths and the ablutions of Hinduism, which we could almost touch with our students of that privileged terrace, fascinated us to realize that we were before the best documentary only represented at that moment by our eyes. and the first thing that impressed us was to find the Spanish letter among other languages was the first time we had passed since we arrived in this fascinating country! the second was so varied dishes and the way they did them: keeping the traditional style of Indian vegetarian food, they had a good blessing to lower the spicy level. delicious vegetarian dishes served with the kindness of the staff working in this establishment. My husband did not give credit to the possibility of eating fried eggs in Spanish; because the children were fried, and I, more risky, delighted me with a dish now impronciable: I forgot his name but not his drip and texture where a tasty roll hosted a hard egg inside. All this watered with a delicious pisto that might well have been manchego would be called malawa, maybe? I don't know, I'm not sure. To finish the meal, the children went crazy with banana chocolate pakoras and I assure you. It wasn't just the kids who challenge him. thanks to the restaurant sheenu, the guest house ganpati a chiku, parvati and shivansh tripathi and mother ganga to make us live a delicious night! Bahut accha hai! bahut accha lagara hai!"
