"Very good pizza. Both the Chicago and the New York pizza were really good. We would have been happy if both crusts had a little more salt in the dough, otherwise the crusts were excellent. The Chicago style tasted as if the tomato sauce used above, faithful to the Chicago style, was of a can. Would have been a great pizza with fresh tomato sauce. That was my biggest complaint about the food. The house salad is the typical St. Louis style, 90% iceberg salad, but the house dressing was excellent."

"Wow, we came in and sat right away. The food here is exceptional and you should find out for yourself! Had a bbq beef - it was tender and tasteful along with a Papaya salad had a great taste. We also had lambery, which a little spicy, but much to my desires and more on the milder side of the spicy. Good job I'm back! "My family moved here in 1975. I came here in 1985. Dales has been here as long as I remember....right down the street from the old drive-in theatre. Always been great food. I've traveled around the country and served in the military. I always craved Dales BBQ sauce while away. I now keep a bottle in my fridge. Never had bad food there they never disappoint. Baby backs are a little small so order the full rack if that's what you're after. The sliced pork sandwich is their best item. Sliced turkey is great also. I'm not a huge pork fan but will never turn one down from Dale's. I usually order a pound of pork and turkey to go for my family. Their coleslaw is the best on the coast. Sweet tea is pretty good as well."

"I know that many people love the pastrami of hat, but I don't think it's all that special. You get a huge sandwich with lots of fat, fat meat. It's okay to eat that every time in awhile, it's just not that good. I wish Pasadena had a decent place for a great pastrami sandwich, but we didn't. Tops is okay, nothing special, Lucky Boys cashier is so rude, I refuse to go there."

"It stopped on a whim last night and it didn't regret it! More extensive menu than most restaurants of its kind. Server was friendly and helpful when we asked questions about menu items, Our food was delivered immediately and was presented so beautiful that I had a embarrassing squeal on his arrival. My mother had a chicken cabob over rice with Tzatziki sauce, grilled vegetables and salad. I had the chicken puppy with hummus appetizer as my entree and had enough to eat with remnants to come home. And the price was great. Thank you for giving me a reason to come back to Vestavia!"
