"This is a restaurant, bar and wine shop rolled into one. Basalt is located next to the now disused cave cooperative in what is now the suburbs of Agde rather than vines. This make parking easy.The space is airy with plenty of natural light. Tables are set amongst wine racks which make up the wine list. We chose from the carte rather than what looked like a popular good value set lunch menu. Unfortunately a couple of dishes we chose were unavailable, understandable as they required fresh seafood, but annoying as disappointment ensued. Our server should have pointed this out when presenting us with menus.Nevertheless, we enjoyed simple tapas starters and a dish of riz de veau and veal kidneys was a tour de force of precise cooking. Monkfish with black pasta was also successful. There are plenty of wines by the glass - just trust your host to choose. Bottles have just a 10€ mark up on caviste prices so somewhere to opt for a fine bottle from the racks distributed in the dining area and grouped by the type of food they match. We'll return and bring some friends."

"Restaurant blindé de monde qui se soucis de faire du fric plutôt que de faire à manger, cuisine dégueulasse, immangeable, servir des brochettes de poissons de chez Métro encore congelé ! faut le faire en bord de mer ! En plus d'un service très très long ! On va pas vous conseillez d'y aller à éviter absolument."

"We come back to this place every year. Food is good, friendly people and a realy nice view. This year we don't know what happened but we got served by a lady (blonde around old) that whas incredibly unfriendly to us. We decided to...finish our drinks and not to eat this time. The bartender still was very friendly. I hope for Au bout du Quai this lady is not the owner and they do something with the comment."

"The Naturist quarter in CdA is sleazy. Everything, except the naked bodies and the beautiful beach, is run down and ugly. The food in most restaurants borders on the inedible. A happy exception to this rule is Le Galion. We have been going there for many years and every return is a pleasure. The place is clean, sparkling and well maintained. The service efficient and friendly and the food, while rather basic, is the only food worth eating in all of the quarter. Everything they serve is fresh, tasty and well prepared. Please don't go there - it is much too crowded as it is."

"The nautilus is a spacious restaurant with a welcoming thmatic setting (aquarium, hublots the map is composed of several fresh products combining the prices of the land and the sea correct. As for the kitchen, we have a lot of love for our respective dishes that also very well cook. the service was well orchestrated by john, quentin and tom who welcomed us on arrival 14:30 (and the restaurant closed its summer season a few hours after our arrival.) they also showed a lot of transparency by dividing the product available on the map. Finally, we learned a lot about their sympathy and availability."
