"Very cosy and comfortable bar, especially in the winter, with a burning fire to warm up our cold feet. Staff are very friendly, we asked for stuzzichini (bar snacks) and they brought us so much of it, we could hardly eat it all up. The restaurant is next door and they have a great grotto-like courtyard where you could have your dinner on a summer evening. I will definitely be back to try that."

"Have been here the first time, with around 20 colleagues and it was a really nice evening. We preordered out of a choice of three starters main courses and desserts. I had the pea cream with gnocchi (amazing, also the colour see photos),...entrecôte as a main course which was served on a hot stone and the chocolate variety which was divine. We were seated on the outside terrace, which was nice. When thunder, lightening and rain started, they pulled out a nice white roof, so we were protected. Recommended for friends, family and business groups."

"Der Apero kam erst nach 30 minuten, dafür vom Restaurant spendiert (chapeau!) Personal freundlich aber etwas überfordert vom Ansturm, gemischte Fleischplatte nicht empfehlenswert, da fleisch kalt wird, schönes ambiente"

"La location e bellissima e la posizione ottima. C e una scelta vasta di vini e cocktail. C e una piccola offerta di cibo (affettati misti, Flammkuchen) che e perfetto da condividere con una bottiglia di vino, come abbiamo fatto noi. Il servizio e stato ottimo e il responsabile Ahmed e stato molto gentile e professionale. Torneremo di sicuro, a presto!"

"L'anno scorso la pioggia ci aveva costretti a pranzare all'interno, questa volta tutti fuori in terrazza viste le temperature estive! E' piacevole sedersi ad un tavolo rotondo in 4 persone, la vista sul giardino e la piscina è rilassante... Comandiamo 4 piatti differenti, dal filetto di manzo al pepe della Vallemaggia, alle scaloppine di vitello alle spugnole, i bocconcini di manzo alla Stroganoff e i gamberoni al curry, serviti su piatti ben caldi e contorni serviti a parte. Complimenti a Jean Pierre e brigata per la qualità, siamo più che soddisfatti e ci concediamo un dolce altrettanto delizioso! Il caffè è offerto, anche il servizio merita un complimento, consigliato a chi cerca un angolo di pace e qualità!"

"Maybe the top hotel in Ascona?We visited for a meal one early evening we sat on the terrace overlooking the lake, enjoying the view after a few minutes we started to look at the menu and decided what to order.A waitress came up and asked us to move as she was about to reserve the table and proceeded to show us a table right at the back with no view, no apology stopping for a brief moment at another table to tell a gentleman he could have our table to which he replied his wife would not be ready for sometime?We decided not to stay and proceeded to walk away she made no attempt to appease us or apologies.I am so glad we did not stay here."
