"We had the steak, chips and salad. Was really nice. My sister said here was the best steak she'd had in years. The atmospher was fine. Nice little bar area. And drinks are very good value."

"Located across the road from the Beach, the $12 lunch menu is excellent value. We had steak which was well cooked and delivered with sauces and sides as ordered.Basic atmosphere but speedy service. Easy to get a drink from the bar and plenty of tables. Would happily come back here next time we are in Kirra."

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The blonde waitress was rude upon arrival. She didn't know what was on the restaurant's menu. She brought out our food at separate times, and once an hour had gone by, one of us went to check, only to find the food had been sitting there going cold as she served other people. She then got him to bring the food back to the table himself. We were the only 4 people at the restaurant on a Tuesday, so expected better than this. The customer service was absolutely appalling. Would not recommend."

"The Orient is located inside the Twin Towns RSL Club which adjoins the Mantra Twin Towers. The Hotel, Club and Restaurant are in desperate need of refurbishment but refurbishment/redevelopment will not be inexpensive. From a design perspective, there is SO MUCH WASTED SPACE!!! Anyway, whilst...the service at this restaurant is pleasantly okay, the King prawns with cashews blew me away. The prawns were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were delightfully crisp and crunchy. Heartily recommend a visit. Do not be deterred by the old world appearance. Pity you have to go to the bar for a glass of wine. That is yesterday."

"Food was nice and very affordable. Got a beef cashew nut with great flavour. Great to see local businesses doing a good job. It is in need of an upgrade but it was cheap food and a quick easy meal for dinner."
