"To meet a friend after the work, we decided to come to the location for a few pints. the vibe was a strange, with a large number of politicists (I thought her career would be a donut shop? and a few natives from the environment. it was a mix that seemed strange, especially given the newly furnished interiors suggested, it was a bar that was visited before you were in a club, instead of going home. the beer garden was more comparable with a large smoker area, with some benches thrown in with a heating. "We stayed for one night but definitely will be back! Everything was just so good...from check in to leaving. The Otter beer was definitely superb. We'd reserved a table for dinner in advance and had a superb meal. All was served quickly and perfectly cooked....My wife had the goats cheese and beetroot salad. I had the chicken liver and chorizo pate then an excellent medium rare rump steak. Friendly and efficient service throughout. The bedroom was lovely and so quiet, and after I'd turned the radiator off and opened the window we had an undisturbed night. Breakfast was just perfect with a great selection of perfectly cooked options. Look forward to coming back but might need to make time for some walks afterwards to work off the calories!"

"Me and the family are off to fuertaventura tomorrow so we decided to eat here... glad we did... it's an old school pub who only serves lite bites before then after till the full food is on... to be honest the service...from the bar maids was great.. realy nice people... the food was also realy nice, my son said his steak was amazing which is great praise from him to be honest.... next time we fly from bristol airport we will definitely be coming for the food and drinks first!..."
