"Had a very quiet birthday dinner on a Saturday night. The decor is nothing to write home about but the food was very good quality including the awesome sticky date dessert. The price is moderate and no hassles with service. Was surprised there weren't more patrons. The fellow was playing piano intermittently between serving guests so it's a good thing it was a quiet night."

"Visiting from NSW (aka Australia ) and stumbled across this great venue that is far removed from the typical "pub".The bar staff were very friendly, and after a couple of drinks we adjourned to the dining area.Like the bar, the dining area too has been tastefully refurbished.We ordered the battered flathead which arrived on a board, and was resting on a piece of baking paper that was purpose printed to resemble newspaper; a nice touch!Very tasty indeed, and much better than we expected for the price."

"A typical club meal, this bistro at the Ipswich RSL next to Riverlink has a good choice of menu items. Daily specials range from $8 to $13 one of our group had the sweet and sour pork with rice and veges for $8, was a good size. Our other meals seafood platter $20 and chicken schnitzel $15 were also good sized servings, especially when you added from the salad bar. Plenty of tables available at midweek lunch sitting, as well as plenty of parking. taking or the order at the servery was a little slow, but food cam quickly enough. Drinks are ordered at the bar. As this is a licensed club you need to be a member or bona fide guest visitor."

"Thank you so much for catering my fortieth on Saturday night. The food was delicious, all of our guests commented on how great it was. You were so accomodating of our requirements at a very busy time of year for you. Would happily recommend you to anyone, such a pleasure to deal with. Took away all of the pressure I normally feel when providing food at a party, for that I'm so very grateful."

"Service is terrible, food, needs improvement, go up the road to the PA for better service. Very disappointed with this place, after the reno they did good for a few months then their service went down rapidly along the same path as the food."
