"I ordered the chicken noodle box and when I have had this before it was ok, but this time I asked for some extra light soy sauce to be added after it was cooked and when I got it back to work to eat, they had added enough dark soy for it be a soy soup which made it inedible. It was not cooked enough so it wasn't hot enough, nothing was raw as they don't use raw meat, it's pre-cooked so no risk of getting sick, but it tasted terrible. This is last time I eat there, we have plenty of options in Brighton and will go anywhere else."

"Outstanding! Modern take on fish and chips. Apparently they also do very tasty burgers but I haven't tried them. What I can tell you however is that the fish and chips was simple, fresh and delicious. There is a basic version available but also a Korean one! With Korean gochujang sauce! This looked pretty good. Make sure you also try the mushy peas, the best I have ever eaten. In terms of price, I think it's reasonable, 14£ish for the fish and chips and around 10£ for burgers. Worth trying!"

"Incredible African cuisine, never had it before and I can confirm the flavours are insane! It's a great place to share a number of plates with a small group, trust me you'll want to try everything on the menu anyway, so this is perfect! The waitress was also super friendly. 100% recommend all the dishes I had, which were Cauliflowers don't have wings the texture and flavour is something else Mogo chips Ringna bateta nu shaak Grilled masala fish Lamb kalio Mandazi Kulfi donuts for desert"

"The beetroot and goats cheese tart was delicious but one friend complained that the chicken was dry and over cooked and another found the avocado in the Caesar salad inedible. When she complained, she was told Cafe Rouge weren't allowed to serve ripe avocado! Although £3.50 was taken off the total cost of the bill, we decided we would meet elsewhere next time as the space was quite cramped and noisy."
