"Now we are talking serious food ..... The Maison Rouge not only has exceptionally good food, but the sommelier is quite something. We trust him so much that we just tell him to suggest what we should have with our meal and have never been...disappointed. Sometimes I go here for after work drinks, where you can order different meals off the menu in small tapas portions; in the winter it 's nice to have a glistening, warming glass of wine at the bar and then sit down to gastronomic delights and in the summer .... ahh... that fabulous terrace! Just to warn you, this isn 't your pop in for a quick cheap meal we are talking gastronomy .... steak tartare with white truffle chips, home made fois gras ..... somewhere on my phone I have photos of everything I have ever eaten there but I can 't post it here, that sort of food porn can 't be legal, it 's so so so sexy!"

"After we had pointed out 4 times that we wanted to order food (maximum 15 guests in the restaurant), they did not offer the food on their menu. Instead of rice, they offered pasta to a chicken meat that sounded like a strange dish. However, as he ensured that it was very good, I agreed. After waiting 45 minutes-1 hour, the food came: 1/3 of a normal part, with normal penne pasta, and wok with a chicken that I would have done much better at home. After the reference to the owner that the dish was small, the pasta was not fresh, and it was only not good overall, the owner said that as I ate it all I would still pay the 19,30 CHF it on the menu said."
