"The past two times that we visited my son at the University we went to Burtons. I wanted to find a new place to experience and knowing that The Hotel had such a great reputation I figured we would try the Old Maryland Grill. I was rather disappointed not only in my meal but trying the kids meals. My one son got the crabcakes. They were nothing to write home about. Two of my kids ordered the fried chicken with the macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was very bland and needed something for flavor. The fried chicken was OK but again there was no seasoning in the breading so it was highly bland. My husband and I both got the Cobb salad. I felt like a cow grazing on a ton of greens with again, no flavor. The green goddess dressing had absolutely no flavor to it. other Cobb salads that I have had had blue cheese dressing.For being in such a beautiful hotel they definitely need to up there game on the food. For the prices, to be so incredibly tasteless it was not worth it. I have paid in upwards of $300 for the five of us to go out to a meal and totally appreciated every mouthful. We will not be backAnd I would not recommend."

He was very friendly, polite and made his job with so much joy. He came to check us all here and then asked how the food tasted and whether we needed something else. Such a nice guy. Required :"

"I've never heard of not serving customers because you're doing a shift change and you have 7 people standing around gossiping/on their phone/laughing... I guess nobody in there knew how to quickly cook a waffle and scramble eggs? Usually the service is decent, but today was just disrespectful."

"I love hard times chili Mac (chilli over spaghetti). We all have the five way Chili minus the cheese. I had half Cincinnati, half Terlingua Red. My wife had half Terlingua, half Vegetarian. It really doesn't matter what kind you get, they're all delicious. Prices are still very reasonable for a lot of food. Service was great and we had a nice table on the outdoor terrace. Hard Times never disappoints."

"Coming here was like a blast from the past because it's been a minute since a seen a place filled with people with BACKPACKS on. Looneys is close to a college soo coming here made me feel old as I saw girls with matching outfits on with their roomie. Nonetheless, great environment to watch a game and get some food. Also some solid drink specials and ample parking. Please pay for your parking because they will tow. Place is huge but still fills up so keep that in mind. Overall a great visit. Oh also- when you like check in using Yelp it popped up this 10 percent off thing BUT the manager explained that there's been no recent communication with Yelp regarding this discount sooo don't be surprised if this isn't honored. Also Yelp you should reach out!"
