"After eating out at several Cranbrook and area restaurants my wife and I opted to try the Rockwater Grill (or Steakhouse). We were glad we did. The restaurant is relaxing and tastefully decorated. The evening we went we ordered the special they suggested. It featured steak, lobster and crablegs. In a word, the food was delicious. The steak was tasty and done just as we ordered it. The lobster and crab was to die for. Meggie, our waitress did an outstanding job of looking after us.After the meal my wife said, "of all the restaurants in Cranbrook that we have tried, I like this one the best so far". We will definitely go back."

"A Pub/Restaurant located upstairs in the Western Financial building (Cranbrook's Recreation complex.) Typical pub type food. The food is good but the food service can be quite slow especially before a hockey game so give yourself extra time."

There was a full salad bar, soup, dessert bar and aVery generous selection of breakfast foods and lunch dishes. We sampled the eggs Benedict,The fried potatoes, pancakes, sausages,crispy bacon, waffles and pancakes and all were delicious. There was an Omlette station and roast beef, ham, perogies and the bestBeef stroganoff I've ever tasted in a restaurant. The servers were prompt with coffee andWater refills and the foods were replenished promptly. The restaurant was crowded and theLocal guitar virtuoso played beautiful songs. We live in a city and would easily have paid $35Or more for a buffet of this quality. It's obviously well known to the locals. We will return!"
