"We have been going to Wetmore Road Fish Bar for years and always get good quality food. There is lots of choice on the menu, chip portions are huge (a small portion easily feeds 2 people with some left over) and it’s definitely the best...in Burton. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. You can phone your order ahead if you want to. If you go on a Friday teatime, you will have to be patient and queue because it is so popular. It’s always worth the wait though, and the staff work really quickly to get the queue down quickly."

"Really enjoyable and good quality food. We live locally and decided after seeing many nice photos on Facebook to give it a go. We wasn’t disappointed, the food was lovely and with a full restaurant the service was fast and efficient. There’s a really good...selection on the menu and the specials even for my husband who is extremely fussy who normally only finds or things on the menu he likes but he had many options he couldn’t decide. The starters came out within minutes of ordering and the mains also came within minutes after we had finished our starters. We didn’t get to try the deserts as we were so full with large portion sizes but next time we will make sure we make room. I think this might become our regular as we enjoyed it so much. I know how hard the industry has been being a chef myself so to get food out so quickly and cooked perfectly, they’ve got a good team in the kitchen. Well done I’m impressed."

"I have been nearly 50 years in hospitality and never encountered this as the worst real example of appalling hospitality. Wish I could film it as would make Fawlty Towers look exemplary! Have had good scampi etc before from them before but tonight was like sheep droppings. Not up to #Marstons standards but the weird host and hostess blamed #Marstons. for supply, MmmHH?? Arta they buying elsewhere? Came back to #travelodge who say they now discourage guests going there owing to awful hospitality. Are you happy with this '#MARtons? Good outcome.I have the best example of worst hospitality for my teachings. But is that right for a great brand like Marstos> #marstons consider and move forward"
