"We visited here about 7 times during our local stay. At first this was because the weather was awful and we wanted to keep dry. They seemed quite happy for customers to linger over coffee with books and iPads etc. Staff were very friendly and from day 2 we began to have a light lunch here. Very simple, quiche, salads, cheese platter etc very tasty and nicely presented. A place without pretention. Great outdoor seating in the main square for fine days."

"Forcalquier ist berühmt für sein Stadtmarkt am Montag und deswegen empfehle ich Allen immer an diesem Tag in diese Stadt zu kommen. Das Städtchen selbst sehr romantisch. Es ist ein typischer Weinbar mit Tischen draussen mitten in der Stadt an der Hauptstrasse und in der Nähe des o.g. Marktes. Lokal vom sich selbst sehr schön, könnte jedoch etwas heller sein. Man kann hier auch was kleines Essen. Weinauswahl für Gläser ok aber kein Highlight. Preise sehr gut (3-8 EUR pro Glas, Flaschen ab 20 EUR). Die Gläser könnten sauberer sein. Eigentümer nett und ruhig und kann englisch. BofG - Wiederkommen/Empfehlungsfaktor (0-100%): 25%"

"We've had lunch with a large group here. Dinner was excellent. Especially the steak tartare, citizens and entrecote. The service was just a little formal. Definitely a terrorist in Forcalquier."
