"We were all satisfied with our meals here at Muskie Jake's. Beef was very tasty. Live Irish band was playing. Although there were no tables free outside we could still enjoy the view to the river from our table."

"The previous review was not written on the right restaurant....this the pub at Glenhouse resort. Not the smugglers bar and grill in Ivy Lea at the GBL. That is a horrible place and we won,t be back to smugglers bar and grill any time soon.We were at the pub at Glenhouse last night and yes, it was busy. But we were in no hurry. We got a table for four out on the porch....beautiful views, got our drinks and waiter was very efficient, and friendly. We ordered and the good was fabulous. My husband ordered the prime rib, which they are known for and I had the pickerel.......both were fabulous. They let us substitute the potatoes for more veggies or Caesar salad...which is very accommodating. Great service and atmosphere. Bar staff and waiters were great too.We will visit every week till they close for the season!!Thanks for letting us show our kids a nice night out on the river."

"So says, my husband as he describes this restaurant. He still rants about them months later. The service was great and the food even better. We can't wait to return.I would suggest you make reservations ahead of time. Not just the same day, but when you book your hotel, reserve a table at this restaurant. They just squeezed us in because of a cancellation."

"Sorry, but this place was not good at all. It is a buffet dinner, which cost way more than I've paid at almost any other Chinese buffet. The selection was small, with almost everything being VERY greasy, fried beyond recognition, and just not good. Additionally, most of the "hot" food was cold, or luke-warm at best. The peel-and-eat shrimp were good, but there only had a limited number of them out on ice. I took a good amount, but that ran them out of their supply and they never re-filled their tray. I would have liked more, but could not get them. There was only one employee there who was visible during our visit, (I think he may have been the owner), and he couldn't be bothered with refilling any of the food tray. I did not enjoy this meal, and I wold never go back or recommend it to anyone else."
