"We're from out of town and wanted good Italian food, not a pizza place that also serves pasta. Found Ristorante Pantuso on Maps and checked out the reviews, at first we were concerned about complaints of price and one reviewer didn't find the booths clean. Our experience was fantastic. The restaurant was very clean, and being from SoCal, the prices didn't seem high at all (drinks, bread, salad, entree's and desert for 2 came out to $80). Also, when you consider quality over quantity, it's well worth it. We had the ravioli and lasagna, both were delicious. The food is made there and follows recipes passed down from the original owners (been in business 58 years). All of the flavors blended well without one flavor overpowering the others. The ravioli filling was creamy, but not mushy, and the portion (8) was perfect to leave me satisfied, but not uncomfortably full. The lasagna serving was more than my wife could handle. The cheese in the lasagna was very smooth, unlike some cheaper lasagnas that taste pasty, and it wasn't overdone with cheese to the point you can't taste anything else. All of the staff was extremely friendly (we've actually noticed people in Grand Junction are some of the friendliest, most courteous people we've encountered), and the owner was working that night. I hope the staff realizes the huge deal it is that the owner is working side by side with them, mixing drinks, serving, bussing, delivering checks, and all the while chatting with patrons. Our server was top notch and my only complaint is she hasn't yet tasted everything on the menu, so she couldn't offer an opinion on some dishes. As an added bonus, the night we were there, the original owners came in for dinner. It was awesome to see the current owner excited about the opportunity to share her experiences, and receive feedback on how well tradition is being carried on."

"Beautiful hotel. Great location. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had (at least when they have the potato, sausage, and pepper stuff, but the scrambled eggs are pretty ok, too).Walls are paper thin, and the fitness center is one of the worst I've seen. Some of the dumbbells are literally coming apart, and there are missing weights from the set. Everything else is cardio equipment. They do have complimentary passes to a nearby gym, but I didn't discover that until I saw the sign on wall in the hotel gym. By that time I was already in the middle of a workout."

"The crack fries earned their name. Much better than the regular fries and waaaay too tasty. Ordered pickup of the fries, burger and calamari and was ready in about 20. Would order again."

"Our family loves to come here. our children behave because they like the grass area outside, the veranda seats are amazing. eating was good, the best part was the outside terrace. we need to enjoy our meal as our children like to play around the trees."

"Im giving a one star for s specific reason. I 'm trying to reach those that are relying on 1star reviews to judge a place. The bad reviews for bad service...not true at all. We had MOST excellent service..our waitress was phenomenal. Bad reviews for overpriced...not true (reference pic of receipt for 2) food was definitely delicious and appropriately priced. We had 0 negative experiences and definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Decorum was appealing...service was courteous...food was excellent and valued...all things point to an excellent experience. Go and feast .. enjoy "

"The menu sounded great. we ordered the charcoal and crab cake. the quality of what came for the charcuterie plate was a sweat. No French brot, cracker from a box that is better suited for a child's dinner than a modern French restaurant and the meat was also very low quality and looked and tasted as if it were food business brand deli vs. meat. the chess were also of low quality and a step above the American cheese. the crab cakes were sour and it lacked taste depth. will not be back."

"It was my bday on Saturday May 7th we were seated in the media area with the couches. We had a blast. Thank you to our waiter. He rocked. We were a party of 25 and he got all our orders right and drinks. Food was great. Nice vibe. Thank you again."

"We got the peach mimosa and the bloody Mary with shrimp. Both drinks were really good! The food and service was also really good. We ordered the venison hash and the biscuits and elk gravy. And for dessert we had the maple bacon donut holes. It was all amazing!"
