"Despite that it was full and the tables were occupied to great part, it was not too loud. you could have a good chat, it seemed very cozy and not overloaded. the food was delicious and as you expected it (personal selection was the sour roast). 5"

"Luckily Cafe Stovchen was located around the corner from our hotel. Earlier in the day we had walked by and peeked into the window noticed the menu displayed . Also, noticed the funky decor, reminiscent of Seattle cafes. We returned for a late lunch. We were greeted by one of the “twin owners”. The proprietors are literally identical twins. We split the more than generous salad with tuna the pasta with a light creamy pfefferlinge mushroom sauce. It could’ve actually fed all 3 of us. I must also mention that the owner kept our glasses filled with nice cold water through our lunch. Which was a nice touch. Especially after the fact that we had paid 6 euro for a bottle of Italian water the day before at another local restaurant. All 3 of us were so impressed with the quality and generous portions of the meal that we are considering going back again during the remainder our 5 day stay in Cologne. Try it, You’ll like it."

"Probably the best place in Cologne for tapas. Food is always good. Friendly although not always accurate service. Quite expensive for what you get and then at the end credit cards are not even accepted."

"Die Bar ist recht klein gewinnt aber im Sommer durch die große Außengastronomie, direkt vor der Bar. In der regel wird die Bar von Schwulen und Lesben bevölkert, aber auch immer wieder verlieren sich hier Heteros hin. Das mag daran liegen das es hier ungemein freundlich und verbindlich zugeht. Man kann hier einen Kaffee trinken wenn man auf den Bus wartet oder auch am Abend auf ein Kölsch hier vorbei gehen. Besonders zum PRIDE COLOGNE platz die Bar aus allen Näten, weil sie unmittelbar an der Parade Strecke liegt."
