"This is were we we directed to after my boys wanted to eat crepes and we saw people ng wine. We didn't realise they were 2 separate venues! Barapom, La Baule, is where my boys sat for crepes whilst we were seated here for wine. Amazing, accommodating friendly service. We were quickly greeted and attended to by the owner. Were we're sat outside to keep an eye on our boys seated next door eating their crepes. As they had finished they joined us and we sat inside as there was more room for my hyper boys. Even the single french guy sat infront of us inside was friendly and playful! Great wine list, but not cheap. Friendly owner even recommended we come back for a singer coming from India playing on Monday 7th August. Which we sadly missed to to being in Guerande. . We had the most Devine wine recommended, which I shall upload later. But wasn't cheap. Stylish wine bar, amazing and welcoming service. We loved it."

"This is the beach restaurant of a 5 star hotel and I have to say that the service was very poor and the manager of the restaurant rude, unprofessional and arrogant! We waited 45mn between our starters and main course. Even though we asked for...Los NG chairs on the beach the day before they said it was full even though they placed people who didn’t have reservations! They also later on, refused to serve us drinks at 17:00 because they were setting up the dinner but served other clients! When I confronted the restaurant manager he didn’t even let me finish and said that if I wasn’t happening y I was welcome to leave and complain to the Director if the hotel!!! How rude! Several other tables were also complaining and got the same treatment!!! You should never be treated like that in a 5 Star hôtel and I would not recommend this place unless they change the manager. The food was good and fresh but our overall experience was unpleasant because of the arrogant service."

"Difficult to get a place for lunch if you have not reserved for the first service at 12.30 (easier for 1.45 PM). Plats du jours are very nice this time I loved soupe crème aux chataignes, Saint Jacques et chanterelles. For kids there is always sth...in the menu anyway they are busy on the beach..."
