"Fairly good food, although my tuna entree was embarrassingly small—5 very small pieces of tuna on a shallow bed of slaw for $34. And the octopus tapa was mostly potato chunks with a small smattering of octopus pieces. If you like a good wine with your dinner, you’re out of luck. They charge $48 for their “best” Pinot Noir, Elouan, which you can buy online for $15.95, and is consistently rated in the mid-80s by wine reviewers. Your other Pinot option (with a similarly hefty percentage mark-up) is Rascal, an $11.99 retail bottle that they sell for about $30, and which one reviewer called “glorified food coloring.” If you bring your own wine, they whack you with a $30 corkage fee for each bottle opened. So, your choice is to either pair their good food with a less than mediocre wine, or pay through the nose to drink your own. We chose the latter, but either way, you, the customer, loses. When I asked the manager to waive the $30 fee on our second bottle only, she rejected my request, and scolded me with a harsh “Do you know what we pay for our liquor license? Over a million dollars!” Apparently, they’ve decided that also gives them license to drive away customers with aggressive pricing and, to be kind, rough around the edges managers. On that front, they succeeded mightily with the four of us last night, despite the good work of our very nice server."

"First visit on a suggestion. Very unique menu. Went with some simple choices. The food itself was ok but the twist on them made them better. Order a burger with a. Mushroom/lobster topping. I think I could have at a bowl of the topping by itself. The different choices really add to the menu. Over all not a bad place to go. Pretty good happy hour specials too. Pricing is about what you’d expect for the menu and venue. Certainly worth another visit to explore the menu."
