"The quality of the dishes never constant, varies according to the mood of the chef surely.... in the same week, I took the same dish twice (scalope of calf), I had the impression of having changed diner. "We visited as a family group on our way to the airport. The place is very spacious - we had a pram and it was fine beside table. Staff were all very efficient and spoke English if we needed it. The food is really good - loads of interesting burgers to choose from. And there is free refills on chips/french fries. But you don't need it as mains are enough first round! Beware/ if you like your meat cooked well say very well otherwise it's red. Kids burgers have a salad cream type sauce on them so ask for it without if kids are fussy."

"On the no1 bus route to the airport, just a few yards down a side alley from the Mérignac Centre stop. Met some family and friends who were going to the airport. Very affable waiter served some splendid beer and wine. I never did see the menu, but we were served copious sliced baguettes, a selection of sliced cheese, a selection of cold meats, then the pièces de résistances, two baked camembert, hot and melting, one with some sun-dried tomatoes on top. Great for an early evening repast."
