"They have tons of other good stuff on the menu as well and including lots of new additions and of course the favorites are still on there but as you can see i am very excited that they have a veggie burger and might i add the only place in town that does ( oh there is another place that has something else and i cannot compare it because i never tried it but if i wanted a bean burger i would go there ) !! being a vegetarian in minden there are not many options and i am a veggie burgers worse critic so when i say its good ITS GOOD ITS GREAT ITS AMAZING ok lets be honest this is THE WORLD FAMOUS ROCKCLIIFFE it is a bar WITH GOOD FOOD . i have to hand it to the new owner(s) for cleaning this place up :) part of the reason they got an excellent rating from me . a heads up dont expect to go there friday for a late night romantic dinner you go there on friday to party and eat deep fried stuff . they have a great mixed basket :) they have a facebook page check them out at https://www.facebook.com/pages/World-Famous-Rockcliffe-Tavern/90954373898 . *note new menu not on web site yet"

"Ordered take out last night. We have eaten here before many times over the past 10 years and have had great experiences. This was the first time we were so disappointed. Our entire meal was subpar and we paid over $100. The wonton soup dumplings were squishy, the lemon chicken tasted like chemicals and the Singapore noodles were like soup noodles with no flavor. There was barely any beef in the beef and broccoli and the broccoli was over cooked. If this is indicative of the level of service because of the increase in volume of people to the area, pay attention to the quality of food and hire more staff. Increased volume of traffic means increased opportunity in the area."

"On Monday for our annual autumn colors they drive with the dog and drive to the west on 118 from the haliburton village after we found their pet-friendly exit/terrace closed, we have to go to the country bakery where we were freshly made all dressed bratbeef and...Turkey sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies. my wife complained later when we ate her that she would have bought a bread. next time!"
