"Called today to place an order to collect, gave our orders that was fine. Went into collect and the older woman that works there the one with the diamond hat on(diamonds were all falling off which makes me concerned as I wouldn’t like to think...they were in customers food). 3 of us ordered on the phone so when we went in the woman went over what we had ordered and we told her the order wasn’t right which is fair enough so told her it was incorrect and that she must have misheard to which she replied “don’t get me started today” with an attitude. Huffed and puffed and said it must have been us that said the order wrong talking to us like rubbish,which wasn’t even the case and even if it was what’s the problem? She then proceeded to call us “wee lassies” this isn’t the first time we have had issues with the same woman on the way in the car we actually discussed how we hoped it wouldn’t be her serving today. We have now left without food"

"First time ordering because our neighbour recommended. What a let down. Waited an hour 20 mins on a Tuesday night for 3 dishes to be delivered. Called after an hour to be told that it was still waiting in the kitchen! Called again 20 minutes later to cancel. Won't be trying again."

"Fortunately I live nearby and eat here frequently, the food is great massive portions with plenty of choice I recommend the yang yang chicken starter the pakora chicken is also very good and i’m always tempted by the famous chicken curry with rice and chips...you need a big appetite to demolish this plate and it’s very authentic with a kick to it. Burgers are cooked to perfection and for the traditionalist there usually always a roast, steak pie and the home made mac n cheese is always a safe bet. For desert it’s. got to be the old fashioned knickerbocker glory that’s if you have enough room left. Young bright and cheery staff a good atmosphere and buzz about the place probably best to reserve in advance as it’s a busy pub. Great selection of gins whiskey and cocktails my fav is a lively pint of tenants lager."

"Came here for my dad's birthday. The place was mobbed due to them being busy with the football, a wedding and a birthday party, nevertheless, the staff did an excellent job despite being rushed off their feet.Food was exceptional. I had the scallops for starters which were very tasty, then the fillets of seabass for main which was immaculate and to finish off for dessert the sticky toffee cheesecake which was the best cheesecake I've had in a while!"
