"We visited on a very windy and showery day, so this restaurant certainly lived up to its name!! The shoreline is very nearby and it was great to see the waves crashing as we ate the fruit of that same ocean. I chose the black scabbard fish, with a salad and local poncha, well you must try something Madeiran and found that I was given two good sized fillets with a sauce and a banana. Some people frown on the idea of the banana, saying it's not traditional..... well, I don't know, but I found the combination to my taste. My wife had a tuna sandwich with chips, which she enjoyed, after pinching some of my salad even though she already had some on her sandwich! The total bill was 21.50 Euros, so we added our tip and went away fed and content."

"The location is very cozy and welcoming with an urban charme. You can buy little handcrafts and Madeira made food and drinks if you want to take something special home.The service was very nice and helpful and the sandwiches the best I had in a long time (recom.smoked ham,dates cheese).We will def.come back!"
