"My family and I just had a 75th birthday for my father in the waterview in the port jefferson country club. it was in the harbour room with 50 people. this is really a wonderful place to have an event. the room was very spacious, together with outside seats with magnificent view of the long island sound. the service was excellent with the event sales manager meg. she was very nice and incredibly patient! Anyway, I had a question or change them always react quickly and very accommodating. the service on the party was also great and the staff was incredibly attentive to all our guests. I also want to give a special thanks to alex our head server because it is not only great, but also helps us with the perfect story to bring my father to the room for the surprise. he deserves an oscar! we started with passed hors d’oeuvres and then shed with ultra premium open bar menu. we chose: tomaten mozzarella caprese salad over a bouquet of baby greens with balsamico pesto small dish of rigatoni pasta (we added) sliced sirloin port wine mushroom Demi-Glace chicken francaise boneless chicken sauteed in brown mushroom sauce grilled atlantic salmon herb-crazed with lemon butter sauce. the drinks were fantastic and our guests all snapped how wonderful it was to eat. many thanks once again to all at the waterview that we will always appreciate this very special day."

"A cultural icon of days past! a place where everyone is greeted by most friendly staff in ny. here everyone knows their names. eating is excellent, the beer is cold, the staff is the absolute best in the business and the clientele was very friendly. we were treated as a royal helper thanks to terri who went out of her to introduce us to all. for all those we met, thank you for all the great talks and reminders they gave us. thanks terri! this is a unique place to visit."
