"We have been coming to the Bridgeview since 1976. It's not fancy, but the food is good and the quality is consistent. The weekend breakfast buffet is a local draw, with all kinds of good things (and some strange ones,too) to try. The diner hasn't changed in forever, so if you're into the classic diner thing, you won't find a better place. The patio is right on the river at the marina with (you guessed it) a view of the Johnstown-Ogdensburg bridge! The patio is a unique structure: part party tent, part RV parts, part board on board fence...charming! Well worth a drive to Johnstown, or a stop before or after crossing the bridge."

"For the first time it is certainly not a raised, medium or even average scale for a sportable. the first thought was euck, and that was just a walk. the smell of years of spilt beer in the air. I had hunger. to the bar where two were behind the bar. after a few minutes both left the bar area in another baking room. at the five-minute mark, that was my task to go. if that's the service I'll get before, then I can't rely on the kitchen to be better. there were a total of maybe 6 customers everywhere so busy was not an excuse. first impression, negatiw. second impression, negatiw. do not wait for the third. I won't be back."
