"The waterfront restaurant is in the crest hotel and has a view of the bay of prince ruptures. One can end up with a big choice of hot dishes with fish or vless, but also the fast bite and the citizens are on the map. The service is kind and the food is super hot, and there's a large choice of beer and wines, anything against average prizes. If one goes to dinner, ask a table at jet window with a view of the sea."

"We had to catch the ferry very early the next morning, so I took sandwiches and some grapes from Safeway, very close to the Crest Hotel."

"I love old style eateries and stumbled across the Gondola Drive-In quite unintentionally. I mean, I've always known the Drive-In was here, but didn't know it was actually still in use. That is, until just a few months ago when I pulled in with the intent of turning around. I stopped momentarily to check something in my vehicle. In that brief window of time, a server came up and asked if I wanted to order anything. I didn't order anything at the time because I'd just eaten, but the light went off and I thought, "Hmmm...this would be a cool place to bring the grandparents one day"! And so I did just a couple of weeks ago.I pulled up to the Drive-In with my grandparents and we ordered some food: shrimp with fries; one piece cod and chips; a cheeseburger, milkshake and sodas. Service was prompt and friendly. We loved having our food brought out to us on a tray, which was then attached to the drivers-side window. Total time warp! As for the food, it was ample! The shrimp and fries were excellent, as was the fish and chips. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed by the burger because it was bland and skinnier than a McDonald's cheeseburger. Oh well. The highlight, at least for the grandparents, was the strawberry milkshake -- it was thick, rich and creamy, just like they used to be made back in the day.I'm giving the Gondola Drive-In a 5-star rating mostly because of the retro experience they offer. This stop gave my grandparents a chance to reminisce since, believe it or not, they did visit this exact Drive-In some 50 years ago when it first opened. You just can't put a price on such memories! In short, this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.FOOD: 3/5SERVICE: 4/5VALUE: 5/5RECOMMENDATION: Drive-Ins are a rarity these days, so it's a wonderful surprise to see one still functioning in Prince Rupert with (presumably) its original menu. I recommend checking this place out, even if just once for the experience."

"We ate here twice while in PR. It is in a great spot up the high end of the street and has a great space for groups to mingle and enjoy the sight of the bay. Food was cheap and cheerful, beers cold and locals...friendly. We had a groundhog visit and a deer walked through the grounds."

"Great little coffee shop, perfect for the area. Fun, quirky decor. Some tables for seating and an area for kids to come play with toys while parents sip their coffees."

"The Hub Bar is relatively new in Prince Rupert, which officially opens its doors in 2015. It is, for all intentions and purposes, part pub and part nightclub. What that means is The Hub “Family friendly” until 10 a.m.; after that the place turns into... a happening discotheque. I never tied around for “after hours” and was only ever here to eat some delicious food. What attracted me to this place was the great sign on the outside of the building that advertised the “best wings in the north”. The best wings in the north, you say? This is a rather high order and I am not quite sure that this is true, but I can say – without hesitating – that the hub definitely has the best wings in Prince Rupert. On many occasions I cooked the wings perfectly – delicate, juicy and full of taste. And what is more, they have a variety of flavors to choose (30, in fact), and a few different wing types, including dry, saucy and hot. For my money, the “voodoo” wings are just right as they contain the perfect amount of “hot” – enough to kill your mouth a little, but not so hot that everything you try is “burn” to quote Ralph Wiggum. But for those who are a bit more adventurous, The Hub also offers its “Sucide” wing, which corresponds to Wing’s famous “Bobby wing”. This wing burns only hot, i.e.: you don't get any taste outside the hot sauce. That said, the hub is not just about wings. They also offer your typical pub adventures: chicken fingers, salads and various burgers. “The Hub Special” Burger is a personal favorite of me. Or, if burgers are not really your imagination, you can also try the (decent) fish and chips or the “Pig wings” (a funny game on the chicken wing, though with pork). In short, the food is really good, but the service can be met and miss: Sometimes the employees are very attentive, while in other cases they seem very uncoupled and uninterested. It's a little handle. The atmosphere of the hub is certainly intoxicated, but when I go to the building, I can't help but think I went back to the 1990s and into a cosmic bowling alley. The dimm lighting and neon lights that decorate the ceiling heard a lot back at such a time. If they managed to press into a few bowling alleys, the picture would be complete! FOODSTUFFS: 4/5 SERVICE: 2.75/5 VALUE: 4/5 RECOMMENDATION: As the signs suggest, come for the wings as it has easy to offer the best Rupert. The designated wing night also offers a much better value! Two thumbs up!"
