"This place is simply fantastic all Burger combinations are fantastic and very fresh and seasoned well. Here, too, Mexican food is excellent. The first salads are fantastic. Nice selection of beer too. Super friendly waiter makes this a good place to see in the desert"

"Brand new place in Rancho Mirage. There are many restaurants close by but we get bored with spaghetti factory, Cheesecake Factory, etc etc. This place offered something new and different. The owners care very much about the quality and taste of the food and drinks as well as the atmosphere. I want to try one of each thing on the menu, they all look so good! The floor alone is reason to check this place out and get a real nice photo with your shoes ; every detail in this space is well thought out, stylish and beautifully finished. "Stopped in for cocktails after a meeting. Such a terrific location at The River. Pleased staff was wearing masks. Not impressed with cocktails...one order gin instead of vodka....other seemed waterdown. My fault didn't speak up, but was short on time. On the other hand I shouldn't have to."

"Outstanding BBQ/food and great selection of drinks! Been here many times on the weekend (party of 5) and never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. Staff always great at keeping the drinks and food flowing. If you're not local, it can be a bit out of the way but it is well worth the drive. Highly recommended!!"

"La Quinta Cliff House is a wonderful restaurant. The setting is lovely. There are several dining rooms and a full service Bar. Service is very attentive, you are welcomed upon entry, and checked on by staff throughout the dining experience. The food is delicious including fresh fish. Short ribs, salads and appetizers. There is also a Bar menu offering lighter fare. Well worth a visit."

"My boyfriend and I used to frequent Yard House for its good vegan gardien selections. However the last two times visiting.. things got a bit weird. Our recent visit, we went with a few omnivores. My boyfriend and I ordered the steak fries that didn’t have truffle cheese on them. Our waiter rashly exclaimed there was NOT steak fries. A few minutes later he arrived with steak fries... We continued ordering and our 2 omnivores ordered the orange chicken and we specifically, (and made sure) that my boyfriend got the VEGAN gardien orange chicken. When the food arrived, all 3 orange chickens looked the same! No difference what so ever. We all opened the chicken up and compared the textures; it was obvious and apparent to us all that the vegan chicken was not vegan at all. We brought it up to our server and he INSISTED the food with the stick in it was the vegan chicken. He did it in such a rash manner too. I calmly explained what all of us had concluded. He responded to that with, “I can’t bring it back.” but luckily a manager stopped him and said he could in fact bring it back. After 20 mins or so of waiting for the remake of the hopefully, vegan chicken to arrive. A new plate of chicken arrived. Not gardien chicken, but new chicken. It was yet again, obvious that it was chicken. The waiter took it away after we decided we no longer wanted it. He wasn’t very nice about it either. Our latest time visiting, we had the same problem with the orange chicken. We’ve gone to Yard House numerous times and have gotten the vegan orange chicken lots of times; it was obvious we got the gardien one every time before these two incidents; there is a distinct difference. Now we’ve decided to stray away from Yard House or at least this specific one."

"Great place to get a quick lunch. I enjoyed the Papaya salad I ordered, but the menu was a tad stuffed. I really don't know if it's Belgian, but the food was good. I'll be back."
