"We have visited here regularly over the last 6 months and find the food fantastic, very authentic and amazingly good value. Never had a bad meal here to date. Would reccomend anyone to give them a try and see for themselves."

"Having been here previously and enjoyed the food, I was very dubious about visiting the restaurant after it has been rebranded to Long Sun. The reviews are pretty terrible, and I was braced for a miserable experience… However, staff greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, and were very friendly, bringing us prawn crackers with our drinks as we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. When they did, and we moved to our table, they brought more prawn crackers as we looked over the buffet menu (which seemed pretty much the same as before) for £18.50 each all you can eat. You can order up to 2 starters and 2 main courses per person (plus rice) each time you order this might seem a bit restrictive, but it's so that the kitchen can prepare your main meals as you are eating your starters, so there is less waiting between courses. It works perfectly, and if you want more starters you can just order them with your next round! There was never any suggestion that we would be made to pay for any uneaten food, and we felt no pressure to do this I can only assume that if this has happened it's because people have ordered far more food than they could eat, wasting the great food. And it was great food! My favourite was the roast pork curry, which comes with a nice, thick sauce and is very tasty. The king prawn dishes were amazing you could tell they were very fresh as they were light and fluffy and cooked to perfection in every dish we tried! All of the roast duck dishes were tried were equally great, from the pancake starters to the main dishes, with the balance succulent and crispy just right. I don't really have any criticisms. Personally, I'd prefer slightly smaller portion sizes just so I could try more off the menu, but they should be fine for most people. I'm a chili head, so would also prefer more spice next time I go I will see if they can do mine extra spicy, but I'll be happy either way as it still tastes great. Overall a brilliant experience staff were all very attentive and shook our hands as we left. I'll be going back soon!"

"We often go for a meal and have always had a very enjoyable meal.Yesterday we had a per cent off voucher ,so off we went. I ordered a rump steak,well done , jacket potato(we had had a phone call to say that the deep...fat fryer was broken so there were no chips or anything fried) with peas mushroom tomato and pepper sauce.When I cut into the steak it was still pink,which really puts me off . I called over the waitress and explained and she was very apologetic and took the plate away. The manager came over and apologised and said they would cook me another one..but it would take a while..was that OK? I said fine,and he said they would be as quick as possible. The waitress came back and asked if we would like puddings especially as my husband would have to sit and watch me eat when mine arrived...we said we would like puddings and tea and coffee.I waited minutes , which I didnt think was very long ,and then I was brought a completely new meal which was lovely.The steak was cooked perfectly. Our puddings and tea and coffee arrived and were very enjoyable. My husband went to pay and was told they were free as an apology! We will continue to go to the Bramley and enjoy their lovely food"
