"Husband had breakfast special, his was good I just had the 2 eggs toast home fires it was good except for the home fires, they were extremly salty couldn't eat them, noticed that other table near us the ladies there didn't eat their home fires either, when waitress asked how everything was I told her the fries were salty instead of offering new ones, she rudly told me that they don't add salt or pepper to their fries just seasoning if I didn't want any seasoning that I should order them that way (how's one to know if they never had them). Well I guess she just didn't get a tip."

"What a terrible experience for Father's Day. We made a reservation well in advance for 7 pm. It was raining so we knew we couldn't sit outside but looked forward to trying the dining room. We were told the dining room was full and were disappointedly seated in the back table of the lounge. Our server was Matt, very abrupt and not friendly. Not polite at answering a question on the menu. We were disappointed the menu was limited, and who has pizza as half the menu for a fine dining experience? The fish fry is cod (the cheapest on the market) and $28!!!!Our food was just okay. When we were half way through our meal, Matt wisked away our plates and asked if we wanted it to go. When we asked why, he said "well, we're closed you know". We were not aware that they closed at 8 pm and should have been told this when we made the reservation and we could have booked an earlier time. We then noticed the restaurant was empty and staff were standing there waiting for us to leave. Apparently, Matt didn't like having the last customer as he wanted to go home. He brought us the bill and the machine at the same time and stood there until we paid. We had looked forward to this new restaurant, but from our experience and others that we've heard, we will not go back. Jen Wilkinson needs to know how her staff is treating people and do something before all the locals don't go back."
