"I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to say something about my visit the other day I made a booking through email and was texted a very welcoming yes arrive at 5.30pm for your table Upon entry was greeted with a nice big smile and shown to our seats. We was asked for drinks which arrived quickly and then ordered our food!!! What can i say about the food except wonderful and fresh and hot We had a cheese garlic flat bread which was tasty My pie was delicious and my wife's chicken was beautiful It was a Thursday which was a discounted night on full price but would not of hesitated to pay full price!! When leaving a restaurant if I'm not full something is wrong well I wasn't and then went home and fell asleep with a full belly Thanks to all the staff at the cedar tree especially the girl behind the bar with the glasses sorry forgot your name but it makes a good start with a big welcoming smile well done Keep up the good work we will be back"

"I must say that this is unusual for the area. The reception we received was first class and the staff and especially the food where second to non. Please can other bars and restaurants visit here as this will show others how Rochdale could be a town of such class one day. Don't the others know it's not all about giving cheap alcohol but putting quality first. Magnificent job, please keep up the fabulous work and the chef obviously has the quality to work in many top class restaurant's. It makes a change to frequent an establishment in Rochdale with such class. Thank you"

"Came in yesterday evening for some food and I was met by Dave and sarah who are very friendly and polite, I ordered a katsu curry with waffle fries and it came out piping hot and was lovely! Brought the food to my table and I loved every bite! Will be back very soon!"

"Took my mum for dinner , always loved the flying horse for drinks. I ordered the Donner summer vegan pizza , my mum ordered the philly cheese steak burrtto . Awful food ,one of the waitresses seemed like she didn't want to know and after 30 mins of waiting we ordered. Never again. The pizza was bland and the burrito was just rice . AVOID"
