"A real local pub. good food served every night. best quality real ales. in perfect condition. to supplement all these things, the staff and customers were really friendly. we were in the golf resort and went here for both nights. the only thing some people may not like is that the furniture is a bit worn out, but after a few pints that interest it! we were really glad we were here!"

"Food and the service was exceptional however, what lets it down (like most good pubs) is the extortionate wine list prices. £6.50 for a large wine is simply profiteering. But this place is nearly always fully booked and even though i disagree with their pricing structure, we will go there again."

"Popped in mid-afternoon for a Doombar and a Guinness, and found the pub quaint, clean and charming. A few couples were talking quietly. Perhaps too quietly!? Anyway, will visit again and hopefully catch some music and story-telling."
