"La Abuelita is a family run restaurant that serves good if not great breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. It is quite a large space and tables go back to a garden area. The juke box can be a bit deafening when it's on, but otherwise the decibel level is OK. Soups and snacks are quite good. What I found to be remarkable and quite welcome was the excellent maintainence of the women's bathroom:clean, small baby changing table, (cushioned! )toilet seat, soap and paper towels! As another reviewer recommended, keep walking when the Real de Guadalupe pedestrian only andador ends. The businesses (art galleries, etc) and the Guadalupe Church at the end ogf the street are really worth a visit."

"I love cactus based drinks to start with especially those including a worm (gusano) how fortuitous to find this compact bar lounge... it is new this year and pouring some serious artizanal Mezcal. 5 types two with high octanes, one with pine like a Retsina I had the Pechuga as viscous as Chateau Y'Quem with a sliced maderin. has music and a fire on the roof.."

"So I went and checked Taqueria Bendita upon the recommendation of a friend, and omg. Delicious affordable food (try the taquitos de chapulines! unforgettable! , warm and friendly staff, great music and atmosphere (decor is on point! and of course there's the mezcal! The widest selection of mezcals I've come across, all with their own delicious qualities. The Meszcal degustation is a must-do. All in all 6 out of 5 stars for an authentic Mexican experience. Visited twice now, and I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!"

"I never write bad reviews about a place I prefer to concentrate on the ones I like. But this was awful and they were not receptive to our concerns about the food. Everything was either dry greasy or undercooked. If you are drunk then its good. If you’re sober than stay far away"
