"We arrived and the Manager (I think) was perfectly welcoming, genuinely lovely man with a sense of humour. This review is not a reflection of his professionalism. He helped us with the menu and shared a joke. However, as soon as he left, there was a palpable shift in atmosphere. The waiter (assistant manager) was clearly unhappy that we weren't prepared to follow a starter/main/desert programme. Apparently, tapas are only for starter in this restaurant, he couldn't have made that clearer. He then appeared to sulk his way through our order.. When our teenage son asked for no salad on his burger, the waiter had to make a comment about his order failing to include any healthy ingredients. Noble, but not necessary. When items were missed from the order, the waitress appeared to be annoyed with us/him/somebody???? The food was tasty and the ingredients were fresh, but the grilled monkfish lacked side dishes (one slice of potato was rather disappointing). This is the first time during our holiday that we have not felt able to leave a tip. Not sure who owns/manages this restaurant, but please train the front of house staff. Your chef knows what he/she is doing. Front of house, shambolic. Could be a case of sour grapes? They would have added to the grilled monkfish dish. It costs nothing to smile!"

"Very helpful staff who found a table for us when we hadn’t booked. Even got an extra table out for us away from the kitchen. They explained there would be a wait as they were busy. No problem. Reasonable priced wine and food. Great chips! Beautiful setting."

"Never got around to going in May 23, so determined to try this time Oct 23. We'll worth the visit and in fact booked for next week (Thurs). All the tapas dishes we tried 5 6 were delicious, service was great, the staff were outstanding. There understanding of English was far better than my Spanish I did try to do all Spanish but it was quicker and easier in English thanks guys and thanks for fitting us in as a walk in. You are now on our must do list when we visit each time along with the Clementina and the coffee cake shop in Sant Luis. The place was full of locals which is a good sign for me."

"Self-catering holiday made us explore the opposite of sant lluis. we liked this small café/bistred/ice cream hub for his friendly staff and queaky-cleanliness. in juli heat were the outside tables that attack the planter, more for natives. a good choice of. drinks, crepe sandwiches and ice creams. timelines, timeliness available. Maybe not play about it. great place to immerse when they are peckish or have to hide from heat."
