"This is a hidden gem on full show on the front overlooking the river, the food is well cooked and hot, prices are very good, we had a full meal with starters, mains, sweet, a beer a bottle of house wine and a bottle od sparkling water, for lest than 35 Euros , but don't be put off by the price the food is great, only niggle is it appears to be chips with everythinf and no other veg."

"Delightful small and intimate tavern with delicious tapas. The owner was happy and helpful. Olives, dried tuna and chicken in mostarda and honey were as good as it gets. I never thought to sit here and enjoy the Red Hot Chili Peppers while sipping Vinho verte, eating delightful Portuguese petiscoes! Toto Bem!"

"We arrived mid morning , very quiet village but this cafe was open and had attractive outside seating with view of the lagoon- all tables taken so went inside instead. Lovely staff spoke English and explained the ferry had stopped operating as it was October, also recommended somewhere for lunch. The cafe serves coffees and cold drinks and simple pastries, loos OK. Convenient for the little ferry in high season."
