"Quaint pub with an old atmosphere. Really good drinks. They know how to make them right and obviously take pride in them. Only tried appetizers, but they were good. Would go back for sure. Great patio as well."

"Great spot for a different take on breakfast/brunch/dinner all in one. We tried 4 different biscuits. Hot Honey Biscuit, Nashville Hot Chicken, Monte Cristo, Chicken Not A Waffle. My favorite was the Hot honey biscuit. I liked the Bruch Punch Mimosa which was a different twist on the normal mimosa. Rebecca our bartender/server was great and very helpful."

"I was here twice in a week. eating here is very addictive. it is a little expensive, but the portion sizes are huge. for 16 they get enough food for two people, a very hungry person, or rest for the next day. my only complaint is the lack of well drinks/refills on the soda"

"I am a night owl, and this “dive bar” is my favorite one of all. I really love everything at this crossing at the coit spring creek in plano, but. lanterns is my fav. they are always open until 2 o'clock. even if there is no more space. this type of resistance gets my heart safe! I have entered when only a male has dipped a beer, but the bartender (always only one) welcomes her with a warm smile and never seems to be in any kind of hurry to close early. if it is more business, the same welcoming feeling from an eclectic, charming group of people would not imagine seeing together at a place. but they all have a thing in common – a love for karaoke – and at lanterns, they get it five nights in the week to love wed through sun. belch, is the best karaoke jockey/master I met. he has the right equipment for the room and he is as charming and funny as the rest of the regular. they all know each other with the first name – and also with their karaoke aliases. No one takes too seriously because it is about having a good time and trying some new melodies. I see them enjoying each other and it is hard not to be caught in their desire to encourage the performer and dance or sing along – even though we bombard. So if they are new in the opposite, or they are new to karaoke (except their car), and they are looking for a place to try it, then lantern is the best place to get behind a microphone for the first time with new people they will soon become familiar faces that they do not have a hard time coming back."

"Waiter was attentive and quick to serve us. The sampler was well seasoned and cooked well for the most part. I am not an oyster fan; it was too chewy for me. The sausage was ok. Tasted a little dry. Next time I will order bread on the side and not in the dish. The shrimp is fresh, nice sized and cooked well. I love Gouda grits and these were delicious! My friends enjoyed the chicken and waffles as well as the sampler. The dipping sauce had a nice flavor as well. I can tell if the Cowboys were playing it would be packed. Covered outdoor seating is an option as well. Nice casual atmosphere."
