"I wandered in here for the lunch special displayed on the board. It was priced right and read well. The staff were courteous and friendly and the service quick and efficient. I had a Gourmet Chicken Burger with fries and aoli. All super tasty and a great tasting large coffee all for a spectacular price considering this is city. The venue is grungy and old school in feel but works. The place is a cafe by day and a bar with entertainment by night. Feels like Newtown in Sydney to me which is another place that feels homely for its rough but friendly edge. Highly recommended! I will definitely be coming back."

"The eatery is very conveniently co-located with the bar... Anyway, we decided that Pizza would be the go. It was delicious and recommended! Went down well with a beer or 2 from the bar!"

"The heading is probably a bit over the top but Pub Grub should be a. tasty and b. decent serving sizes in my opinion. The Spring Hill Hotel served up small plates of very average food for $21 and $23. We had a chicken parmi with dried up ham and mediocre taste (how can a pub get that so wrong?) and chicken and mushroom pasta, small serve and again dried hunks of chicken or turkey?. won't be going back as there are plenty of other quality eateries within striking distance that we can try."
