"A fantastic meal for friends staying on holiday in Slindon! Lovely restaurant layout, tables, menu, food, drinks and super friendly staff! We had a reunion of old friends and this was a super place to enjoy getting together, with delicious food and a welcoming environment. The staff made it an experience as opposed to just a meal, being friendly, helpful and enjoying a laugh with our group. We wish we lived closer!"

"Has been many years since I've been here. I tried to complete my Staffordshire Spoons tour with reviewing them all last year, but this one was closed. Today I met two Issies (Maybe Isabelle). Friendly staff that are doing a great job. I enjoyed a Guinness and a chicken wrap with chipotle for 6.20. Didn't go out to view the terrace due to the cool temperature for the time of year."

"The vine Hotel is a lovely restaurant. Upon arrival we were greeted as we walked throw the door and meet with a bar with a good selection of drinks.. the food menu was standard for a pub/restaurant but the way the food was cooked and presented was above standard and it tasted absolutely beautiful. Really friendly staff,old interior gives it a cosy atmosphere and a really nice place to drink or eat"

"Lancaster Gate £5.55 Amstel The Swan Hyde Park, a busy historic pub ready to quench the the thirst of many a Hyde Park visitor. . The Swan was the busiest pub I had visited on my crawl across the North end of Hyde Park, this is probably due to its location and that it also sits on the ever busy Bayswater Road. There has been a pub on this site since 1721 and it is said that this was the last place criminals had their last drink on the way to be hung at the Tyburn Tree just down the road at now Marble Arch. The box seat to get when you visit here is the patio space out the front as this space was the busiest and had a buzzy atmosphere. I was with my sister and my brother in law on this crawl and they remarked that this pub was very much geared up to cater for the many visitors to the area. Inside you can see that a lot of thought has gone in to the presentation of this pub with the various murals, wood panelling and the many pictures across the walls. Overall, this pub felt like a nice environment to spend some your time in. There is a elegant dining room upstairs which leads to a balcony overlooking Hyde Park, this was hired out on the day of visiting. The service was swift enough and we didn’t have to wait long to be served and £5.55 for a pint was average for the area. . The Swan Hyde Park is a decent boozer with some nice features which is set in a great location. . Information correct on visiting 13/11/21"

"I read many mixed reviews on this venue so i didn't know what to expect i booked a table for We were met at the door by very friendly staff and directed to the lounge bar for a drink . after mins we were taken through to the dining area to our table which was set out as we had asked ,the staff took our orders and we waited for our starters i had the duck with noodles very nice everyone enjoyed what they had . For the main meal i had the fillet steak with BIG fat chips others had salmon, steak pie sea bass all again enjoyed the food we all had a pud there are about to choose from then we had a cheese board . all in all it was all very good we we not rushed as in some places the staff were very friendly the atmosphere was great the food was more than good it was great and we all left very full and quite merry it's not the cheapest place to eat but well worth the cost i for one will be going back for more of the same my rating for this venue ."

"Just got home from an excellent night out here catching up with old friends. We ate, drank and chatted all night. The atmosphere is very chilled, cosy and friendly. After eating we moved to sit next to the fire which added even further to the lovely ambience. Friendly staff, friendly patrons and definitely need to start using the pub more often as actually just around the corner from us. Note to the chef...you need to add the current 2 week special chicken sauté to the main menu it's absolutely gorgeous. So tasty and definitely coming back for more."

"Excellent Hotel Restaurant. We stayed at the Lion Hotel on route to the lakes, evening dinner and the cooked breakfast was superb. The staff where extremely helpful and friendly.
