"A little disappointed with our visit to The Spruce Goose. We came for dinner but we were seated at a small drinks table with an uneven surface. After asking the waitress at the door if there was a table we could move to so we would be able to eat dinner, without her even checking, were told there were no tables available . The restaurant was half empty so this seemed slightly dismissive. We decided to order a small dish to share and go else where to eat. I hope they may consider the purpose of their customers visits in future."

"Came in after a tipoff from an irish friend that a new head chef was in the house.After finding a parking space (which is the fault of the city of subiaco) we wandered in. a quick walk upstairs to the bar/pub floor and we were greeted by a crowd of patrons enjoying sunday dinner with their kids, but none of them were running about screaming and tripping up servers. No no no, they were all sitting in the corner of the spacious room playing amongst themselves!We went up to the bar and were greeted by a nice gent who directed us to the board to the side for the standard meals and informed us that there was a selection of bar nibbles for $10.<br>
Everything on the menu was $20 and the drinks were priced at under $10.<br>

"Superb! This little gem in Rokeby Road came highly recommended. Food & service was fantastic. Best meals enjoyed by our table of four for a long time. Rare to keep everyone happy but there were no complaints at all about any of the dishes ordered. Food is fresh, delicious & full of subtle flavours. Deserts are ridiculously divine! Only negatives are the noise levels and as it is such a small space, the constantly bumping & chair being knocked as people move past or from adjacent table. Pity they don't have more space (imagine this is a nightmare for staff.)"

"We tried the endless hard here and it was disappointing to say the least. the meat and its paired sides came out to different and random times, which tasted 3 meats, as if they had been too long dry and chewing under the heat lamp. the pizza that should be a starter never came. I mentioned this on the theke after we had finished our meal, and the personal told us that it will be ready in three minutes if they simply don't lean back thank you, we had already finished our net. no discount or apology offered. the table next to us who came much later had revived their pizza while we started the main thing. never again."
