"We stopped for lunch. It was very busy but we found a table (the staff weren’t interested in helping). Waited about 10 minutes to place and order then another 45 minutes for two plates of spaghetti. The staff seemed chaotic and disorganised, the woman in charge seemed to have had her smile surgically removed and had no customer skills whatsoever. When it arrived the spaghetti was very average. Suspect they made us wait so long in the hope we would order another beer. We didn’t. Still, it is on the main road through Tarvisio in a prime position so it can be as bad as it likes and people will still walk through the door……."

"Already a year has passed since my last visit of Bar 53 in Tarvisio. How time flies. Nothing has changed luckily. Easy access because this establishment is at the main road leaving Tarvisio south. Plenty of room for parking in front. Nice outdoor seating with a view of the mountains. Good coffee, friendly owner and prompt service. A four point rating and always a candidate for a coffee stop. (Or maybe a 'jause ' ."
