"It is a unique place, next to aldi. the atmosphere is simple and friendly. you could choose between 3-4 day offers, selection of warm side dishes or salatable. certain dishes, such as burgers, steaks and some other meals can be ordered. a lot of soft and alcohol drinks is available. so the place is a mixture of self-service and traditional restaurant. I love everything about this restaurant, and above all the fact that they give people work with limited skills. Every time I'm here, I feel joyful, respectful and would be a customer of such a place. the only thing that upsets me that it is only open on weekdays, no service at weekends. and the lunchtime are too short, sometimes I am too late to come:"

"We waited for 20 minutes to be served. I got a glass full of ice and they put in some Coke without opening the bottle in the front of me. We said we wanted to pay with Visa card in EUROS. The waiter charged in Swiss francs, without even asking us to put in the PIN!? Illegal machine? HOW can you charge anything on a clients card (especially in a currency we strictly said we didn't wanted to pay in!?) without the clients PIN?! We wanted them to cancel it and charge it in euros, out of principles. The waiter refused it and said his machine didn't have the euro option. He was passive aggressive with us for 10 minutes, then he called the manager. The guy was even more disgusting and asked me in a rude why "what's your problem?!" I kept insisting even when I thought he was going to hit me or spit on me, he was so angry and looked at me with hate. He left, the waiter came back, put our ticket back on the table and said "that's it. No cancellation. Not possible on this machine". So I said I'm calling the police. He went to speak to the disgusting manager again. They were ignoring us for 10 minutes and when I had enough, I went to the next bar to call the police. When they saw me doing it, within 5 seconds they canceled the payment in francs and they suddenly found on the machine the possibility to pay in euros. Oh, and this time the machine DID ask for the pin! What happened the first time?I really don't mind to be robbed in a charmed way, but you can't act like some disgusting pig and expect me to leave it your way. So, just find a nicer place, this one is just not worth it."

"Nous avons extrêmement bien mangé. Chaque plat était excellent et inventif. Nous qui n'avons jamais réussi à aller au Clos des Sens à Annecy, c'est un peu comme s'il venait à nous. Pour mon appétit (moyen) je conseille plutôt 2 plats et un dessert ou 3 plats. Prix très raisonnable pour la qualité des mets. Service sympatique. Bon choix de vin au verre. Une vrai découverte à Genève!!!"

"We called in to Edwards Rive café for lunch after exploring the old town area of Geneva. There are lots of interesting choices of food and drinks on the menu including; sandwiches, salads and soups to take away or eat in. We ordered two toasted...turkey and cheese salad sandwiches on rustic bread, two beers and two pear and custard tarts. The food and drinks were really good. The service was fast and efficient and the staff pleasant and helpful. We would recommend and return."

"Nous y étions pour le temps d'une soirée, petit restaurant au couleur et décoration très sympa et agréable. Offrant un coin fauteuil table et ensuite petit table haute et chaise haute et son bar.Le lieu est très sympa et ambiance intime et calfeutré très charmant pour y prendre un verre tranquillement qui fait un effet lounge.Sinon il y a avait un buffet à disposition avec 3 menus à choix, boulette de viande hachés à la mexicaine, émincé de poulet au curry, pâtes à la sauces tomates ou bolognaise plus très sûre.Nous sommes restés un peu déçu de la suite donc du buffet et de la qualité des mets servis, qui manquait assaisonnement voir fade, nous nous sommes servis une fois cela nous as suffit et sommes restés sur notre faim. Mise à part une petite salade verte je dirai pas mêlé proposé également qui a calé un peu."

"We were looking for a dinner cruise as a way to experience Lake Geneva and have a nice meal at the same time. We cruised on a Thursday evening. The ride was nearly 4 hours long as you travel up around the bend of the crescent and then back. We were a bit worried about not having a reservation, but it didn't need to be a concern as there were only three other parties on board with us.We boarded the ship and everyone was ushered upstairs where you could sit inside or enjoy the outside deck. Service was very slow, which was surprising given how few the number of people. We would have ordered another bottle of wine, except they never came back to the table to take the order. You pay for the cruise separately from the meal. For the meal you can chose from the chef's menu - prix fixe (CHF55) or à la carte. We chose the chef's menu, which was three courses and was fine, but not outstanding. We never saw any staff or servers except when the food was brought. There was never anyone to fill a drink or see if we needed anything. At the end of the night we had to go searching for someone so we could pay the bill. Oddly, after dark, they left the lights on so it was very bright inside the ship, which made it almost impossible to see the views. You had to cup your hands against the window to see out. We have taken many night cruises before and they always dim the lights so that you can see out. This is a great idea as Lake Geneva is beautiful and what a better way to enjoy it than having dinner while you cruise past the sights. A more reasonable price (one price for dinner and the cruise), better atmosphere (dim the lights) and serve the table occasionally and this could be a must do for anyone visiting Geneva."

"Ci son stata per il brunch della domenica con un'amica. L'ho trovato davvero perfetto!Propongono una vastissima scelta di prodotti (sopratutto italiani), tutti di ottima qualità e cucinati molto bene. L'interno del ristorante è elegante, ma se la giornata lo permette, è possibile mangiare sulla terrazza all'aperto, che rimane silenziosa e riparata dal traffico. Il personale è cordiale, molto gentile e viene incontro alle esigenze di vegani, vegetariani, sedicenti intolleranti etc... (cosa molto rara in Svizzera). Un motivo in piu' (almeno dal mio punto di vista) che mi ha reso il brunch da Gusto ancora piu' piacevole: per il brunch della domenica non troverete l'invasione di bambini urlanti come in altri ristoranti ed hotels a Ginevra che adottano una politica "family friendly". Non vorrei essere fraintesa, ma personalmente apprezzo molto i locali come Gusto dove è possibile conversare piacevolmente con la persona che si ha di fronte, senza essere storditi da urla e rumori."
