"Quality of wine just ok, but low prices, so ok also. Staff friendly but not always overmotivatet (closing the bar at with customers still inside)... Very central place an nice sittings outside under trees and beside the noise Aare"

"We ate here because we had a buy 1 get 1 free hamburger coupon. Most expensive burgers we 've ever eaten! (My big Mama burger with cheese, tomato, onion and bbq sauce set me back 25Sfr). But for Switzerland par for the course, at least as prices go. Tasty. Good atmosphere."

"This is a typical small Swiss restaurant with a lunch menu limited to two entrees and sides. The day we visited, a typical Swiss pork dish was on the menu. The food was hearty and filling. If you are vegetarian or prefer a lighter meal,...this is probably not the restaurant for you, but if you like typical Swiss-German food and don't need a large selection, this will fill the bill. Prices are typical for Switzerland but a little high for Americans used to eating a lighter, less expensive lunch."

"What an incredible find, attentive service, excellent food and brilliant prices for a course set lunch). Not often you find somewhere that offers some great vegetarian options with the same care as the meat dishes. Service wasn't rushed but perfect speed to take...time between courses and enjoy the view. With waiting staff being attentive without being intrusive. The most incredible setting and great attention to detail from the staff. Just need to go back to try the afternoon tea and an evening meal!"

"I'm not sure what this other reviewer was on, but me and my group had a great time at the Clock Tower bar. It's a pretty small place so it does get full pretty quick, but you can tell that it's all repeat business. Everyone...seemed to know each other. I tried some of the burger, which was pretty good, but I loved my meat that I got on the hot stone Great sauces came with it and some fresh cut fries. Fries weren't my thing but they were alright. I loved the fact that I could watch the cook make our food. Everything looked really fresh from where I was sitting. It would be nice to get some poutine in Switzerland, but I haven't found it yet. The Swiss eat mayo with their fries. The best part was getting some Molson, they seemed to have a nice selection of Canadian beers, but I stuck with that."

"We were on a Saturday afternoon in the Ratsstübli. as it rained shortly before, the attentive service wiped the tables and chairs dry. we chose a coffee and a grappa. we were able to pick the grappa on the map and it was served with an elaborate frame on the table. we're coming back."
