"Had supper here when staying in Trois-Rivières for a conference. Quiet evening, not too many customers. Service was FANTASTIC... I believe the nice lady that served us was Nathalie. Everything served was great... 7$ martini, well-recommended bottle of red, steak for me, tartar for her, dessert platter. The only thing? My steak was a little too done, and Nathalie noticed and comped our dessert and coffee to compensate. Well done. Ambience was also very nice... Lounge, but not intrusive. I will stop here again!!"

"I had the Tataki Duck for supper and my wife had the Hummus Salad. The duck was delicious tender slices of duck among a collection of roasted vegetables with a wild mushroom mayonnaise sauce. When you bring all the items together, the taste was...exquisite! My wife loved her hummus salad. Fresh veggies piled on a healthy bedding of hummus. A very satisfying, and healthy meal option. The beer selection is outstanding. I had the Veuve Noire stout and then the Belgian IPA. I have tried others from the Archibald brand and they are all very good, The ambience is very relaxed and welcoming, with great service. Would go back in a heartbeat!"

"We went here 6km round trip on the Canada day, while we were stranded in the city with our bike in the shop. I chose this place, based on previously gluten-free reviews from it so arrived enthusiastic and hopeful. the critic who wrote them to brush the brotgrill...must have been fluent in French. no such courtesy was extended to me and I ate cold gluten-free bread with almost frozen butter. the pizza, which should be spicy, came on. soggy crust, much cheese and hardly any spicy. for this personal pizza we paid $21 exorbitant to be sure. the rosen penne came on the table with the pasta and congealed sauce. it tasted like it came from a dose. the salads that come free were soggy and pure salate. no other sweetness to be found. my question glass wein never made it on the table. a very disappointing dinner that came to over $50 including control and drinking money. they save themselves the effort and go down to the main street and find them one of the local places where they get a lot more and they pay about the same price for a much better quality meal."

"Visit this restaurant for lunch.Friendly surprised. food is excellent and prices are very affordable. A lot of choices too. the sugar shack-style pancakes are very good. the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the shades are relaxing and we do not grow in the back to complete our meal"
