"Markham Village was recommended for a place for dinner. The village is casual with several restaurants offering patio dining. I walked the street reviewing menus and offerings. I decided to try Liberty, which has limited offerings (burgers and wings). I ordered the Tuesday special burger and beer. The beer hit the spot. The burger and fries were tasty and worked as well. I ate on the patio with a couple other guests. Inside is small and a little cramped. Not inviting for eating, but OK for drinking. The waitress was talkative and helpful when I asked questions about the village. Prices are a little high, considering this is basic food, but the experience was enjoyable."

"This place has been around for over 20 years, and has been going down hill for the last few years. It used to be great, now is one of the worst culinary experiences of my life. Poor menu selections, and the menu needs a complete...do-over. The food is beyond terrible. Even the pizza was un-edible. My wife and I made up an emergency excuse to leave and not eat the food, but paid the bill. They should have picked up a clue when we did not want to take anything with us... The only thing still good is the oysters!"

"Probably one of the places I've frequented the most for brunch. We have visiting for dine in and gotten take off more times than we can count. Its a smaller cafe style spot. It was always busy before the pandemic and is probably considered a hidden gem in Markham. They use to have a limited dinner menu too which I hope they bring back."
