"Steiner has become my local café on Sunday mornings. Not only is it one of very few that are open on this 'sleepy Swiss' day, it also offers quite a few decent items.In addition to being a bakery offering freshly baked breads, danish, croissants, canapés, cakes and other confectionaries, it also offers Swiss breakfasts of a basket of baked breads with juice, coffee and a cheese & cold meat plate.My favourite is the toasted Pork schnitzel sandwich. An absolute bargain at 8 francs and really quite delicious. The place is very small and gets very busy so one might have to have a coffee at the bar while waiting to get a table.If you're in the area looking for a European breakfast (no English fry-ups here unfortunately), this is the place.Service is a bit hit and miss as they always seem too busy and overworked but we've come to get used to that in Switzerland. There are a couple of elderly Swiss ladies who wait tables and they are pleasant enough."

"Begeistert hat mich der frischgemachte Fruchtsalat, vertrieben hat mich die laute Musik und nicht wieder kommen werde ich wegen der fehlenden Tageszeitungen und dem dunkel/düsteren Ambiente. Zum Frühstück hätte ich es gerne ruhig und wenn Musik,dann bitte dezent, ebenfalls ein MUSS für mich: Tageszeitungen um in den Tag einzusteigen, dazu auch angenehmere Lichtverhältnisse. Für Abends oder als Aperobar sicher geeignet, aber eher weniger für den Vormittag."

"What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Switzerland with the family. In addition to the large indoor cafeteria style restaurant and gift shop, there are numerous activities to keep the children amused. In the center of the grove are various picnic style wooden tables with umbrellas. People can enjoy their meal , and the children then run and play. There are large ,square, hay stacks, molded together into a climbing activity; a petting farm with goats of all sizes; an enclosed rabbit hotel style viewing station , where my girls thought the rabbits had bunk beds; a huge wooden and rope ladder spanning several blocks of space; and a sand pit complete with water, mud, toys and fun, fun, fun!Available also was a PICK YOUR OWN BLUEBERRIES option but sadly, we did not have the time. We did however have a delightful lunch , composed of a vegetable topped freshly made pizza, delicious chocolate ice cream, and a large smiling jelly and dough cookie. On our way out, we purchased fresh blackberries and strawberries, and a lovely bottle of pumpkin salad oil. Yummy!"

"This was not the cheapest place to get a pizza, but it was the best we had in the Swiss (and we ate a lot of pizza). the crust was amazing. we enjoyed enjoying the view of the sea outside."

"Nur zu Empfehlen, wir waren schon oft im Bottega essen. Kein Problem wenn man einen Spezialwunsch hat, einfach mit dem Inhaber besprechen und er organisiert alles. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Die Weine sind Super und wenn am am Schluss noch lust auf eine Zigarre hat, ist dies auch kein Problem in seiner Raucherlounge."
