"I complete echo Denmark123London's review. Expensive for average food. Service is substandard. Tries unnecessarily hard to be posh but neglected basics such as topping up water (I would be happy to walk over and top it up myself if the bottle was left near my table; I waited nearly an hour for my water to be topped up) and bringing the bill promptly when asked (we waited nearly half an hour of the bill)."

"Super lunch on December 31 with my son. the tables being all booked we were offered to lunch at the bar, which we accepted. To make us wait for the apes were offered! rare to val to make ... our meals were perfect, very good and very well prepared. the executive team is super nice and attentive with its customers ... you feel almost at home and you feel the passion and desire to enjoy. we finished 2016 on a superb note thanks to the generosity and good mood of the bosses. the best of val to make, a real resto on the tracks."

"There are better places to eat in Val d'Isere which are close by if you walk two minutes. This restaurant is situated in the main lift area in Val. It was a sunny terrace but the food is very 'fast food like' and you will pay a similar price for better food close by."

"We came across this pub by chance when we were looking for something to eat. the pizza place next door (flash pizza) could offer a takeaway. we showed up in le pub and were impressed by the selection of beers, child-friendly atmosphere and sustainable staff. they allowed us to eat and all 17 of us had a delightful evening. worth a visit!"

"Busy, noisy & fun place to eat with good service. Super menu choice where you can choose a meat, side, sauce and carb, covers even the most fussy of eaters. Loved it here, sad that we missed the 5Euros cocktails in the extended happy hour."

"Very beautiful visuals but the kitchen is not at all at the helm, and this for the tasting menu. Inputs: the foie gras maki way: soft foie gras wrapped with a smoked duck leaf that completely takes the taste; The St. James’ shells: it’s rather crab in rag, a hint of carpaccio shells and a lot of crab chair. the main dish: veal with truffle, emulsion of potatoes without consistency, warm and tasteless, dry calf, tasteless. all this sprinkled with tasteless truffle – that’s not what makes the kitchen. The cake with chestnuts like Mont-Blanc, well, on the other hand, except for the very disappointing presentation. Careful, effective and very well, very good advice from the sommelier. In conclusion, much visual, but the kitchen is very disappointing."
