"Eating was always excellent and the service friendly. only grip is every time we were, we seemed to be forgotten at a certain time during the meal; in the rule during the desert when our drinks are refreshed or when first drinks are ordered and our server disappears into the empty. independent of this little grabbed the food, friendly staff and the atmosphere keep us back and forth."

"My wife and I decided to go to Honsberger for lunch with a few friends. Our server Holly was amazing! Very friendly, outgoing and she gave us some great information and insight about the wines and the property. The forest pizza was a great recommendation, as well as the cab franc. Holly brought us a dessert (on the house) for my sons birthday. she even got the tables beside us to join in on singing happy birthday! Atmosphere and food were all amazing. Can't wait to return!"

"We were in an airbnb near the restaurant and decided to try it. we had no reservation, but to the happiness we were able to get a table, so I guess a reservation only for the case. eating was really good, as well as dessert. kudos to the staff, always attentive and ensure that we did well, not only our server, but all. oh, and the iced tea/lemonade is also good. I would definitely go back. I wish they had a bar, they had such a good atmosphere overall, it would be nice hanging out there."

"My neighbours brought us, they've been on the road for years. very relaxed, great music only on the bottom missing from menu points. all due to lack of chefs and servers (kovid). the waitress was fantastic, warned us to wait for that which was not bad with music and drinks. they defend themselves and bring them more people. Yeah, I'm old. I love the crowd."

"Lunch with friends did not disappoint. Very busy on a beautiful summer day at this location on the edge of Lake Ontario. We did make reservations. Would have preferred seating on the patio but would have been in full sun . Umbrellas are there but cannot be used if it is too breezy. Despite being busy, service was prompt and pleasant. Plenty of choices on the lunch menu and the waitress offered lunch specials. Portions were generous. Would go back anytime."

"Visited restaurant in Jordan with high expectations only to be disappointed based on Grimsby location. Salad, asparagus soup, and chicken sandwich had no flavour and soup had no taste of asparagus and seemed watered down. Our savoury tart was really good and enjoyed that. Hope it will improve and would like to return as this is such a great location in Jordan. De la Terre has the best sourdough bread and pastries are great."
