"We have recently come back from a holiday in Vietnam where the food was amazing and extremely cheap. We have been to a few Vietnamese eateries since we have been back that all claim to have real traditional Vietnamese food and have been bitterly dissapointed...until this weekend. We came here for breakfast and we both agreed it was the best Vietnamese meals we have had since returning from Vietnam. I had the Pho, the broth was delicious, everything was delicious, my partner had the wonton soup and thoroughly enjoyed it. Serving sizes are very generous, the staff are very friendly, the coffee was fantastic as well. Obviously the prices are a bit higher than what we would pay in Vietnam but compared to other restaurants we have been to they are very reasonable in Australian standards. We will definately be back"

"Coffee Roaster - West End, Brisbane. Looks can be deceiving or they can have you try to recheck that you are in the right place. This is so here, amongst a bunch of retail shops this little coffee house does not look like much from the outside and from looking in you will have to step into the shop to see that it is a coffee place. That is even with the signs pointing towards it. This is amongst the southern suburb's best places. <br>

A few hours later, the apt analogy for what the look is is that it reminds me a bit of a school tuckshop with the walk-up window to place the order. The rest of the space is very open and comforting - you do not have to chose al fresco to have the feeling here; they even accomodate to the kids with a play area in one corner. So this is really a place for moms to go for a break. <br>

"I had the vegan peking duck banh mi which was flavourful and the bread was shatteringly crisp as it should be. The vegan peking duck was not really like peking duck but a good effort. I’m glad they offer numberous non-tofu options for vegetarians because that’s rare. <br br/>Wish they had paté for the non-vegan options, it’s pretty disappointing that they don’t. Friendly, quick service in a rather eclectic but cosy and super chill interior. Better than Kim Thanh."

"The Swiss Gourmet Deli has a great selection for meals dining in or taking away but the real reason you should do yourself a favour and visit here are the Portugese Custard Tarts. They are the real deal and baked to perfection. Other Portuguese speciality desserts are also on offer and worth trying."
