"I ended up eating her purely by accident. A train across my route of travel caused me to take a detour and I ended up at 9 Grill. The lack of vehicles out front and the lack of diners inside should have been a clue to what was to come, but I was in a hurry and figured I would give it a go. The service was ok. Friendly, and very quick to clear away plates. The waitress was in the back a lot as I was one of two customers in the place, and I could hear her shouting back there a lot, presumably at the cook?The food was just plain sad. It was a buffet. There were chicken wings, but they were oversized and I thought maybe they were actually turkey??? All the food in the buffet was overcooked and crunchy and I found myself wondering if it was leftover from the day before and was just reheated. I had the middle of an egg roll. The outsides could not be cut or chewed. There was some nasty looking gingerbeef that I avoided. There were gyoza dumplings that were overcooked and hard to chew. There were too kinds of noodles, but they were bland and not very interesting. There was sweet and sour ribs that were actually alright. There were dried ribs that were overcooked and flavorless. There was some bland broccoli dish. Basically the only really good food was the fried rice which was REALLY good!So to summarize, my impression of this business, from the wind frayed banner to everything that followed, was that the owners probably had good intentions when the business started and they have fallen on tough times. I am wondering if this place will still be open a year from now. If things to not improve drastically, my guess would be that they will not be."

"Recently went with my family to this restaurant. It was not a buffet day so we assumed it was empty for that reason. When we came into the restaurant my 14 year old brother screamed he had seen a mice running around. We didn't make much of it as we thought he was joking. However after we had ordered he kept saying about the mice running around. We talked to our server but she acted shocked, she started looking around but she didn't say anything about it. She did not apologize and proceeded to observe us very closely. It was extremely uncomfortable to know that we were not only being watched from behind the wooden carved walls but also to know there could be a mice infestation as they are no lone animals. After eating our mediocre meal we were surprised to see we had been charged out full meal, we did not ask for a discount as we did not want to take advantage of the situation. Needless to say we had a bad taste in our mouths after leaving and we will not be coming back again. The way the stuff handled this complain was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. As we were leaving who seemed to be the owner gave us an upset look and did not say goodbye until we did. Horrible place. Avoid at all costs."

"I had heard about this place from several people. I have company coming from Europe next month and decided to do a pig roast. After looking into it, I had discovered many people suggested just getting a whole BBQ pig from this restaurant. My mom and I decided to taste the product first. It was the best BBQ pig we've ever had!!! We are definitely ordering our whole pig from them!! All the staff working were so friendly too, which also helped! Definitely recommend this place to anyone that likes Asian bbq!!!"
