"Food was different than we are used to but that was ok as we were looking for something different. Low score is due to lack of drink refills (tea and soda). Just wished our waiter would have offered to refill our glasses while we were still eating. Offering a refill when we are done/ready to pay is not good service, especially when they were NOT busy that day."

"Visited here after reading reviews. Quite a trek from our hotel but wanted to try their highly reviewed crispy pata.Ordered a small plate of crispy pata which I thought was not going to be finished. Came crispy and well seasoned. Hubby enjoyed it so much he practically polished the whole plate bones and all! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ordered the combo bbq pork which came with rice, salad and pickled cucumbers. The skewers were okay though not as much meat if you are spoiled by Grill City BBQ in the US. For the price, it was not bad.Lumping Shanghai was good. Came with 4 pieces and the usual side of chili sauce. Chicken Inasal was flavorful and hubby enjoyed the taste.Overall, a nice gem and seems to be popular with the Filipino crowd. By the time we left at 7:30pm, this hole in the wall which can accommodate about 25-30 ppl was packed!"

"This place is getting worst....bad food, small portion of food...service was bad. its a fast food style restaurant, i ordered combo...i have a cup of rice and 2 items, beef sinigang( maybe an ounce and half portion of meat.) and dinuguan ( small portion of meat again)and i have lumpiang shanghai( 4 pieces) ang 1 lumpiang gulay. the portion of food here is getting smaller, last time i visited this place was more than a year ago...last time was already a bad experience, but i still tried last Friday, its the same, nothing change, bad service and bad food..."

"This place has been here for years and years and has served the local working and middle class Chinese (and other) residents well. It is located at Champlain Square, a small mall in a largely residential area. The interior is clean, bright and updated. It is a pleasant place for a family to eat in. It also does a steady take out business. I don't know if there is delivery. The food is authentic Chinese cuisine. The chow mein is done exactly how I want and expect, some of it soft and some still crunchy. The meat and vegetables are fresh and colourful. I also like the Hainanese Chicken, the skin is yellow and the meat is moist and slightly pink at the bone (just right). There is also some western items on the menu.The portions are generous and the prices are modest. This is a good place to eat in East Vancouver and in a city where you can find hundreds of Chinese restaurants."
