"Today we returned to the Landgasthof Wagner in Unteremmendorf, which lies halfway between Kinding and Beilngries. Here we were a few years ago and I remember the inn. Ambiente: The ambience fits into the landscape of agritourism. Rustic furniture, ceiling beams, the floor is made of Solnhofener plates. On the tables are clean fabric tablecloths and white middle blankets. Chairs and benches have comfortable upholstery. Service: The greeting was very friendly and we were allowed to choose a table. Both the waiter and the small service were very friendly and attentive. Menu: The menu offers a wide selection of petty-bourgeois dishes, partly with non-common dishes. From soups to appetizers, main dishes (meat, wild, lamb, fish and vegetarian dishes) to desserts everything is represented. For the carp season we were too early to start next week. Food: As an appetizer, I chose the Carpaccio from home smoked Rothirsch ham (9.90 euros) on leaf salad with homedressing. A pleasure! The Carpaccio was very tasty and convinced about the thin sprinkles of Parmesan. Leaf salads supported the taste with a slightly bitter note, alleviated by yogurt dressing. Carpaccio vom Rothirsch Schinken There were two pieces of whole grain bread. The delicious wild boar roast with homemade butterspet and side salad (14.90 Euro) was very delicate and juicy. The meat shredded on the tongue and the hearty butterflies greedy the dark acid roast sauce. There were chicken berries. The additional salad was fresh and crisp, again the excellent housewear. My partner took the pumpkin Gerstl Risotto with young onions and organic goat cheese (12.90 euros). Instead of the trip, the dish was prepared with barley. Very hearty in the bite, elegantly lubricated and through the goat cheese of creamy consistency. Pumpkin Gerstl Risotto For Dessert we still enjoyed a homemade ice cream (a ball of 1.20 euros). There were vanilla, chocolate, lemon balm and an ice cream from clay beans. Especially the latter would have tried. From taste these South American beans are similar to coffee or cocoa, with a slight cinnamon note. First class! As drinks we had a hot tub red (0.25 ltr. to 5.60 Euro) slightly fruity and yet dry. If I found the price a little ambitious. A Rhabarb juice choir costs 3.50 euros, a small water 2.00 euros. Conclusion: Excellent food, impeccable service and beautiful ambience. A visit is recommended."
