"I used to love getting my lunch from a Pret a Manger in Manchester City centre when I worked full time. I’m now in Bournemouth working part time and was happy to find a Pret in the town centre. I fully understand understand the cost of living crisis and the madness in the world at the moment but if I am to pay £3.50 for a coffee I want it in a proper cup not a take away cardboard pot with a plastic lid. Apparently this is Pret policy since covid which I find hard to believe. There are loads of cafes in Bournemouth where you will pay less for your food and drink and be given a cup or a mug. Sadly Pret are likely to lose many customers over this. The place was quite empty when I visited. I won’t be going back."
